If you need any help prosecuting MAC/Symmetry, I will help you. A "Shanna" called my boyfriend a couple days ago, and refused to leave the company name, or even a brief description of what the company does. My BF is desperately looking for part time work, so he allowed himself to have false hope and set up an appointment. Fortunately, I am the one who had to drive him, so he ran all this by me. I already knew something was strange if "Shanna" didn't feel it important to tell my BF anything about the company. In fact, she didn't even give him the exact address. The day of his appointment(today) I told him hed better call her and get the exact address and company name. He called her all day and she never called back. Eventually, just out of morbid curiousity, we drove there this afternoon for a 6:30pm appointment. I walked in with him(I already knew this had to be a scam but I wanted to let him find out for himself and I wanted to see the inside of it). I went downstairs shortly after my boyfriend was taken in to the room with the white board(I had taken my BF's wallet so he couldn't do anything stupid, and I told him that the second they mention an investment he better get up and leave). I asked the receptionist if I could have a business card, or brochure on this company, because I was looking for part time work. She actually told me that they don't have anything like that(business cards/brochures), and all she could do was have someone call me. I couldn't beleive that she was able to look me straight in the face and act like my asking about a way to research the company was an unusual thing... She actually almost beleived her own crap. Anyhow, after going back and forth about why I can't have any kind of information on the company, I chuckled and walked out to my car to wait for my BF. Sure enough, he came out 5 minutes later. They told him almost immediately about "the investment" and he got up and left. We laughed the whole way home.
The sad part is the few people(he saw these folks in the "seminar") that were surely going to be fooled by this scam. He saw a few people dressed in their best suits in the seminar, excited about a potential income. This made us both extremely sad when we reflected on it for a few minutes in the ride home.
